Pricing & Enrollment Information

Program tuition, pricing, and schedule information are provided to families during their scheduled tour. To ensure families receive the most current and complete information, these details are not provided by phone or email.

The Enrollment Process

Enrolling at The Day School of Astoria begins with a visit. We’d love to meet you and your child, show you our classrooms, and answer your questions in person. A tour is the best way to see how our program fits your family, and it gives our team a chance to get to know your child too.

After your visit, if you decide The Day School is the right fit, we’ll give you an enrollment package with everything you need to complete registration. Once your completed paperwork and deposit are received, your child’s space is reserved, and we’ll work with you to choose a start date.

Ready to get started? Schedule a tour

Tours are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00 to 11:30 AM for our 2’s Toddler Program. We do not offer tours of our NYC Department of Education classrooms (3-K and Pre-K) during the school year. Families interested in those programs should watch our events page and social media for open house announcements.

What to Expect

01

Schedule a tour. Book online or call us at 718-545-0535.

02

Visit and meet our team. See the classrooms, ask questions, and learn about our daily routines.

03

Receive your enrollment package. It includes the registration, health, and payment forms you’ll need.

04

Return your paperwork and deposit. A deposit is required to hold your child’s spot, and your space is reserved once we receive it along with your completed forms.

05

Choose a start date. We’ll help your child settle in smoothly.

Tuition & Fees

Tuition depends on your child’s program and schedule, so we share current rates and full details with every family during their tour. That way you get complete, up-to-date information rather than a partial quote.

Help Paying for Care

We accept HRA and ACS child care vouchers. Eligibility is based on family income, size, and work or school status, and the city’s pages have the most current details and application steps:

Families interested in 3-K or Pre-K can apply for free, publicly funded seats through NYC MySchools. For questions about vouchers or enrollment, please contact us.
